The main purpose of CFA Society Slovakia ESG Summit 2025 is to proceed with the predecessor‘s agenda - to present the most current topics in the field of ESG and provide a platform for discussion.

CFA Society Slovakia promotes ethical and professional standards within the investment industry, encourages professional development through the CFA Program, and facilitates the open exchange of information and opinions.

 

Hlavným cieľom CFA Society Slovakia ESG Summitu 2025 je predstaviť najaktuálnejšie témy v oblasti ESG a poskytnúť platformu na diskusiu.

  •          5 years into Green Deal – expectations and reality in European electric mobility:   Pace of adoption of electric vehicles (EV) – what did we expect and where do we stand? What are the reasons for it? Current major obstacles in faster adoption of EVs and how they can be overcome. Is the 2035 goal of zero emission-only new cars still achievable and will EV be the main answer?
  •          Customers ’ view and automakers’ view:   How has customers’ behaviour changed in terms of EV adoption over past 5 years? What does secondary car market tell us about customers ’ preferences? To what extent is EV development dependent on state subsidies? Will European automakers be able to deliver on EV goals? Can European automakers stay competitive? Is Europe able to produce its own batteries?
  •          Energy crisis and European competitiveness – a game changer?   Will we have enough electricity for further EV-share growth and at what cost? Are we playing a smart game with Chinese? Should we expect industrial and energy policy change in Europe and in what direction?
  •          Technology Development: What  are the latest innovations in EV technology, including battery advancements, charging infrastructure, and vehicle performance improvements. Discuss the current state and future for EV infrastructure, focusing on charging stations, grid integration, and public policy support.
